Which diseases can be treated by TCM?
In almost all illnesses the regulation of the vegetative nervous system (which controls the body) is impaired. A strong point of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) lies particularly in the influence on the vegetative functions of the body, so that in the case of almost all illnesses a healing or palliative effect can be achieved by TCM. In addition to the treatment of acute and chronic pain (for instance migraine, headaches, pain in the shoulders, back, hips or knees), other diseases of the locomotive system (carpometacarpal joint osteoarthritis, rheumatic diseases) and of the stomach/intestinal tract (chronic diarrhea, irritable bowel, colitis ulcerosa, Crohn’s disease among others) can be favorably influenced. In addition, TCM can be applied successfully in gynecology (fertility, disturbances in connection with menstruation or menopause), dermatology (neurodermitis, psoriasis, akne, itching, etc.), lung diseases (asthma, chronic bronchitis), chronic sinusitis, dry eyes, burning tongue, chronic ulcers, allergies (for instance hay fever), exhaustion syndromes (performance problems, chronic fatigue), slight psychic disturbances, sleeping disorders and neurological illnesses (numbness, paralysis, speech disorders and speaking difficulties).
